Regional Mfg. Specialists designs and manufactures step up transformers. Step up transformers are widely used in many power applications. If incoming power supply voltage must be increased to accommodate a component or piece of machinery, then a step up transformer is the solution. RMS also designs and manufactures step down transformers that decrease the incoming voltage from the power source to the desired input voltage. As part of our full range of capabilities, Regional Mfg. Specialists also designs and manufactures universal primary voltage step up transformers that are capable of working on any line voltage input.

RMS uses 100% copper windings to build our step up transformers as well as our step down transformers. Our team has extensive experience designing and manufacturing step up transformers in many sizes from as small as 1VA to as large as 50KVA. Our step down up can be used both domestically and internationally.

All of Regional Mfg. Specialists’ step up transformers are computer modeled with RMS' proprietary software that allows electrical specifications to be made variable for each customer's specifications. As part of our attention to customer service and satisfaction, the technicians at Regional Mfg. Specialists computer test 100% of the step up transformers we manufacture. Additionally, full lot data is supplied with each packing slip if requested, at a nominal charge. Mechanical aspects are measured with electronic gauges that include automatic uploading into SPC software.
