Custom Step Down Transformer Manufacturer
Regional Mfg. Specialists designs and manufactures a wide range of transformers, including step down transformers. RMS also designs and manufactures a full range of inductors, and coils. Our state-of-the-art facility allows our team of experts to offer our clients the highest quality material and the latest technology to design and build the step down transformer that is the right solution for your company’s application.

Step down transformers are used in a broad range of applications to allow lower than line voltages to be used. Step down transformers decrease incoming voltage from the power source. RMS manufactures a variety of step down transformers and step up transformers (increases voltage from the incoming power source). Our designers and engineers work with your company to assess your exact needs; then they work with your team to develop and manufacture the step down transformers that meets your unique needs and exact specifications.
Since 1992 this family owned and operated business, located in Concord, New Hampshire, has built a reputation for outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Unique needs and exact specifications, short lead times, low volume or high volume runs are no problem for Regional Mfg. Specialists. All of the step down transformers designed and manufactured by RMS are built to UL / CUL / VDE and CE, with UL and CUL markings if required. Regional Mfg. Specialists is an ISO 9001 compliant manufacturer, with future plans of acquiring ISO registration by the end of 2007.
Regional Mfg. Specialists also designs and manufactures universal primary step down transformers that can be used with any line voltage input. RMS uses 100% copper windings to build our step down transformers. Our team has extensive experience designing and manufacturing step down transformers in many sizes from as small as 1VA to as high as 50KVA. Our step down transformers can be used both domestically and internationally.
All of Regional Mfg. Specialists’ step down transformers are computer modeled with RMS' proprietary software that allows electrical specifications to be made variable for each customer's specifications. As part of our attention to customer service and satisfaction, the technicians at Regional Mfg. Specialists computer test 100% of the step down transformers we manufacture. Additionally, full lot data is supplied with each packing slip if requested, at a nominal charge. Mechanical aspects are measured with electronic gauges that include automatic uploading into SPC software.
